Port  Captain Services

We provide Port Captain/Supercargo services for shipping lines loading their cargoes at BC Coast ports.  We have extensive logistical knowledge of both the ports and ILWU workforce practices at those ports.  Coupled with our experience in the handling and stowage of cargoes  shipped through this coast, we can provide the expertise to ensure that your cargoes are handled correctly, stowed safely and loaded in the most cost efficient and expeditious manner.

Our service includes:

•     Initial planning of the loading operation liaising with Stevedores and Terminals                                      .
  

•     Continuous on board supervision of the operation.
  

•     Monitoring and reporting on production.
  

•     Ordering of labour ensuring the appropriate manning for the cargo operation.                                            
  

•     Preparation of hatchlists with details of  sequential marks and tonnage loaded per           floor.                                    
  

•     Issuance of mates receipts, letters of imdemnity, non - conforming cargo letters and       statement of facts.               
  

•     Detailed report on the  loading / discharge.
