Condition Survey,  On - Hire Survey.

When a vessel is taken on hire, the charterer will usually request that an On-Hire survey be performed, which is a detailed inspection of the certificates, vessel's holds and cargo gear to determine the condition of the vessel.  This ensures that any pre-existing damage to the vessel is not, on completion of the charter, charged to their account.

We perform On-Hire surveys for our clients to ensure that their interests are protected.   Typically, at the time of the  On-Hire, a bunker survey is requested to determine that amount of fuel remaining on board.

We will conduct an On-hire survey covering the aspects specifically required by the client, producing a detailed report and accompanied by a catalogue of photographs illustrating the condition of the vessel  as seen by our surveyors. The final report will be issued within 24 hrs of the  On- Hire survey.

We also conduct pre-purchase surveys on behalf of prospective buyers and P & I condition surveys  for underwriters and insurers.
